When I was a child, I loved hearing adults tell us about their life experiences and funny things that happened when they were kids. I gain insight from these stories that my father was practical and imaginative and inventive man. I still look back fondly on my childhood when my father would take leftover bottles and fruit peels and transform them into unique and vibrant vases.

?Growing up with passion for crafting, I can’t help but attribute my creativity to the influence of my dad, and today we are once again trying to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city to the countryside to enjoy a family reunion.

It is often said that a child’s talent is a reflection of their parents’ strengths, but I think there needs to be an explanation here, not that parents should raise their own replicas based on their own specialties. But more importantly, the environment that parents create for their children can be a powerful force in shaping a child’s character, as love and care can foster a strong foundation for growth. This is something I’m grateful to my parents for.

Raising a family is an incredibly fulfilling yet challenging responsibility, yet parents often struggle to balance providing for their family, tending to the emotional and physical well-being of their children, and maintaining a peaceful home life, all while giving themselves less and less time and energy. Although parenthood is a responsibility, parents are still individuals with their own interests and desires. However, the more duties they take on, the more they tend to become absorbed in the role and neglect their own needs. As I grew older, I began to perceive them from outside of the box. I realize that parents are merely more experienced children, and they two are n a journey of self-discovery.
