A most vile evil will begin to infect Sanctuary on July 20. To have asmooth transition into Season of the Malignant, there’ s a few thingswe recommend you do in advance on your most progressed EternalRealm character:

Complete the campaign, You must have completed the campaignon either the Eternal or Seasonal Realm with at least one characterto access the Seasonal content.?Uncover all of Sanctuary on your map and Unlock all Altars ofLilith The new character you make on the Seasonal Realm forSeason of the Malignant will begin with all previously discoveredareas of the map revealed and all previously unlocked Altars of Lilithand the corresponding renown for them.

Most importantly, we urge you to log in to Diablo IV with your mostprogressed Eternal Realm character after Patch 1.1.0 releases onJuly 18. Doing so will ensure that the progress you made in thecampaign, and with discovering the map and unlocking Altars ofLilith, carries over from your Eternal Realm character to your newSeasonal Realm character.
