Symptom of problem to resolve: UNIFI work in progress list shows a ‘greyed out’ Analysis that cannot

be access, as shown below:

In this example UNIFI was installed on the E: drive

Instructions followed to copy the “Waters.AnalysisUnlocker.exe” into the folder:

E:\Program Files\Waters\UNIFI\Server\Bin

Next step Close UNIF Portal and Stop Waters Service Host

Run the CMD prompt as administrator

Instructions followed to set working directory

Note: To change drive letter, simple enter drive letter plus colon, return e.g > E: <ret>

Run the tool as instructed

Result:-

The failed line in red is expected

Close the cmd window by typing exit

Restart services & UNIFI and view WIP

Analysis now available, no longer ‘greyed-out’

Note: You may have to repeat for further Analysis that are still ‘greyed-out’
