干擾素-alpha（IFN-alpha）是I型干擾素，存在13種亞型：IFN-alpha1，2，4，5，6，7與其他亞型一樣，干擾素-alpha2（IFN-alpha2）主要由病毒產(chǎn)生。在感知到病毒DNA或RNA等危險信號的存在后感染細胞。因此IFN-alpha2與其受體的結(jié)合引發(fā)抗病毒反應，但也顯示出抗腫瘤作用。作為第1個被發(fā)現(xiàn)，IFN-alpha2是研究J為廣泛的亞型，它已被用作細胞因子治療與丙型肝炎病毒感染。
