When we talk about attacking environmental damages , we mean just that. And the way to achieve it is by both living a saving oriented life style and finding productive solutions .

When it comes to people nowadays accepting a less comfortable life, it refers to an economical and green life ,that is ,the opposite of consumerism society . As the world resources is limited to some extent and the world is being polluted in a devastating speed , we have come to the stage that the energies especially the fossil fuels would be depleted in the near future ,so that we have to start to save our world by shifting our consumption of the world resources to a better way .Compared to driving private cars ,we could transfer to public transports though some complaints would generate; instead of washing your clothes in peak hour ,it is suggested to wait until late evening for the sake of reducing the huge demand for electricity that occurs in peak hours and thus we don’t need to build more plants to meet the substantial demand at peak times . All these solutions may encounter some opposite voices basing the grounds for the inconvenience they bring , however , living this way represents the true willingness to produce and use energy in a manner that relates to the sustainability for our next generation .

Not only do we convert our conventional way of using energy , we also could find alternatives and abide by certain regulations under which we could guarantee the long term development .Can we hope to resolve the problems ? The answer is yes —but only with the emphasis from governments ,constant vigilance on the hazards if not changing and citizens marshall confirmatively to put the changes into practice.For authorities , stringent laws on violating environmental protection could be enforced so that any party who dare to despise the laws would have to pay largely; besides ,certain limits on pollutants emit could be quantified .As industries , if they do not emit as much as their permits they could receive some rewards. This provides an incentive to reduce emissions .In terms of customers, they are encouraged to boycott products from companies that do not adopt sustainable practices . In other words, if customers are concerned about one product whose producing process is not environmentally friendly , they can turn to the competitor’s commodities .As a customer ,we have the power to make a difference.

The late 20th has witnessed striking economic growth accompanied by running of our resources due to engaging activities of human races .And the energy crisis is not an assumption from laboratory research , but the factual risks being posed. As individuals , being part of the problems or part of the solutions , is a real choice ; facing this challenge , it not is about “to be or not to be ” ,there exists only one answer for the survival of all
