一、不可數(shù)名詞與其量詞?

? ? 雖然我們不能用具體的數(shù)字（比如one, two, three, four）來(lái)表示不可 數(shù)名詞的數(shù)量，但我們可以借用量詞來(lái)表示其量的概念。不同類(lèi)型的不可數(shù)名詞所使用的量詞也不一樣，一般的規(guī)則如下：

1．常用piece修飾以下抽象名詞和物質(zhì)名詞 比如這些名詞：advice, bread, baggage, chalk, equipment, furniture, information, jewelry, luggage, music和news等。例如：

a piece of news（一條消息）

two pieces of news（兩條消息）

several pieces of furniture（幾件家具）

three pieces of luggage（三件行李）

2．用bottle, cup, drop和glass修飾液態(tài)物質(zhì) 比如這些名詞：beer, blood, coffee, milk, tea, water和wine等。例如：

several drops of blood（幾滴血）

a glass of milk（一杯牛奶）

two glasses of wine（兩杯葡萄酒）

two cups of coffee（兩杯咖啡）

3．其他的量詞還有其他的量詞修飾關(guān)系，比如：

a loaf of bread（一長(zhǎng)條面包）

a tube of toothpaste（一筒牙膏）

a slice of meat（一片肉）?

二、不可數(shù)名詞不能被a（n）修飾。

不可數(shù)名詞一般不能直接被不定冠詞a/an修飾。

比如

“一條消息”不能說(shuō)成a news*，

“一個(gè)建議”不能說(shuō)成an advice*，

“一個(gè)好天氣”不能說(shuō)成a nice weather*，

“一件家具”不能說(shuō)成a furniture*等等。?

三、不可數(shù)名詞不能被基數(shù)詞修飾?

? ? 可數(shù)名詞因?yàn)榭梢詳?shù)出具體的數(shù)目，因而可以被基數(shù)詞修飾，比如 說(shuō)one book或two books等。不可數(shù)名詞因?yàn)椴荒軘?shù)出具體的數(shù)目，因而 不可以被基數(shù)詞修飾，比如“兩條消息”不能說(shuō)成two news*，“五件家 具”不能說(shuō)成five furnitures*等等。
