人民食物主權(quán)簡介(中英文版)

人民食物主權(quán)網(wǎng)絡(luò)形成于2013年8月,匯集了不同高校、科研機(jī)構(gòu)和NGO組織的學(xué)者。
我們認(rèn)為,食物是人民大眾最基本的民生品、公共品。當(dāng)食物生產(chǎn)異化為商品生產(chǎn),那么以資為本、以逐利為目的的生產(chǎn)體系、流通體系、營銷體系便成為食物不安全問題頻發(fā)的溫床。食物不安全背后的問題是廣大普通生產(chǎn)者失去對生產(chǎn)的自主性,消費(fèi)者失去真正的選擇權(quán),國家失去對食物的自主規(guī)劃、調(diào)控和保障能力,這些都是食物主權(quán)的喪失。
我們關(guān)注食品安全和三農(nóng)問題,關(guān)注食物生產(chǎn)者和消費(fèi)者,也關(guān)注國家的相關(guān)政策及其實(shí)施,主張互惠合作的生產(chǎn)者-消費(fèi)者關(guān)系,呼吁保障人民和國家雙重主體的權(quán)利,支持生態(tài)農(nóng)業(yè)等可持續(xù)發(fā)展方式。

The People's Food Sovereignty Forum was formed in August? 2013, bringing together scholars from various research Institutions, universities, and NGOs.
We believe that food is the most basic public good and an essential component of the people's well being. When food production becomes commercialized, production and distribution systems centered around capital and profit-seeking are bound to become fertile ground for food safety issues. Lurking behind such issues are the problematic dynamics wherein producers don't have autonomy in production, consumers don't have a real right to choose, and the state loses the sovereignty needed to control, regulate, and protect food production. These dynamics constitute an overall loss in food sovereignty.
We focus on food safety and China's so called "Sannong" issues, with an eye on consumers, producers, related government policies, and the implementation of those policies. We stand for mutually? beneficial cooperation between consumers and producers, protecting the rights of both the people and the state, all with an aim to promote the development of sustainable and ecologically responsible agriculture.
