2月17日，星期天【本書已在亞馬遜上架】

今天我們?nèi)チ诵●R俱樂部簽約。湯姆也在那兒，介紹我們和俱樂部的女老板認(rèn)識(shí)。女老板的態(tài)度可好啦！

她有兩個(gè)女兒，也都愛騎馬。今天沒人帶馬兒到俱樂部去，因?yàn)槭菆?bào)名時(shí)間，只需要家長填寫一些表格并簽名和交費(fèi)。然后給我買了俱樂部的制服。在俱樂部訓(xùn)練的時(shí)候，我們必須穿著印有俱樂部徽章的栗色馬球衫，以及我們想要的馬褲馬靴。但在參加比賽時(shí)，無論是運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)還是其他競(jìng)賽，則必須穿奶油色的馬靴馬褲和一種特制的羊毛背心，是那種很漂亮的深栗色；深栗色是我們俱樂部的標(biāo)志性顏色。我的運(yùn)氣還不錯(cuò)——俱樂部里正好有一些二手的制服，所以我就買到了一件二手的襯衫和領(lǐng)帶；另外還得弄到一塊特制的栗色馬鞍布條才行——因?yàn)槟鞘俏覀兙銟凡康鸟R兒制服，馬兒必須穿上它才能參加比賽，這樣人們一眼就能認(rèn)出那是哪個(gè)俱樂部的馬兒。

小馬俱樂部的訓(xùn)練時(shí)間是每月的第二個(gè)星期日，下周日就是今年開訓(xùn)的第一天。

我盼望著那一天——急不可待！

We went to Pony Club sign on today. Tom was there and he introduced us to the lady who runs it. She’s so nice! She has 2 daughters of her own who ride as well. No one had their horses there or anything, but Mom and Dad had to sign some forms and pay the fees. Then we bought my uniform. On pony club days, we have to wear a maroon polo shirt with our pony club emblem on it. And any jodhpurs we want. But when we’re competing at gymkhanas or other competitions, we have to wear cream joddies and a special woolen vest. It’s a really nice dark maroon, because that’s our pony club color. I was lucky because they had some 2nd hand uniforms and I was able to get a shirt and a tie. I also had to get a special maroon saddle cloth – that’s the uniform that the horses have to have so people can tell what pony club they’re from.

Pony club is on every second Sunday and the first day for the year is next Sunday.

I CAN’T WAIT!!!
